  • Tuition, Costumes and Performance Fees

Students register for the entire school year. Tuition is payable quarterly (7-8 weeks of classes). Tuition due dates are listed on our website calendar, as well as on the Dates to Remember page of this Information Packet. A late fee of $25.00 will charged to all unpaid accounts two week after the due date. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Quarter payments will consist of Tuition and Costume Installments (1/3 of total price of each costume). 4th Quarter payment will consist of Tuition and the Family Performance Fee.

  • Private Lessons

Weekly Private Lessons to perform in our Spring Showcase are by invite only. Dancers are expected to attend all scheduled lessons. Absences will not be made up.

Catch up Private Lessons for showcase routines are $25.00 / half hour per dancer (payable directly to the instructor) and are available by appointment only, beginning in mid-March through the first week in May. Please contact Shannon to schedule a catch up private lesson - this is only available to Primary, Premier Prep and Premier level dancers. PreDance students are too young to benefit from a private lesson.

  • Sick? Please Stay Home

Please do not send your dancer to the studio if they are sick - if they are contagious, they should stay home, even if they are feeling fine. Examples include (but not limited to): pink eye, strep throat, COVID, stomach flu... If your dancer has a cold or a cough, but feels well enough to dance, please have them wear a mask.

  • Bullying

Premier Dance Academy will not tolerate bullying. If your child experiences or witnesses bullying, please contact Shannon immediately. We have a reputation of kindness and excellence for a reason. We work hard to encourage dancers to treat others the way they wish to be treated in return.

  • Dance Room Etiquette

Please make every effort for your dancer to arrive on time for class - Premier level dancers should try to be at least 10 minutes early to begin warming up. Dancers arriving early should remain in the waiting area - please do not enter the dance room when your class is not in session.

Dancers arriving late should enter the dance room quietly, as to not disrupt class.

Parents of PreDance level dancers will be allowed to stay in the dance room if needed during the first week of class. After the first week, we ask that parents remain in the waiting area. We do our best to help our dancers feel safe and comfortable so they are able to mature and grow.

Cell phones should remain in dance bags and not be used during class.

Although we love the friendships created at dance, we ask that dancers save their socializing for before or after dance class so we are able to be productive in class.

Only closed water bottles are allowed in the dance room - no food, energy drinks, soda, lemonade etc. Food and drinks (other than water) can cause the floor to be sticky.
